MEMBERSHIP

The Society welcomes applications for fellowship from anyone with a serious interest in Asian Studies. Fellows receive the journal four times a year and are entitled to use the library, attend lectures and participate in general meetings.

The normal method of application is to be proposed and seconded by current Fellows. However, those who do not know any Fellows can submit a short CV and the names of two referees who can vouch for their interest in Asian studies. Applications are considered regularly and are normally processed within three months.

Students following an established course of education are eligible for Student Fellowship at a reduced fee and their application should be accompanied by a letter of support from their course tutor or supervisor.
